Girls in Scouting

Until recently, the Cub Scout program has been limited to boys only. However, that changed in June 2018 with the formal introduction of girl membership into those Cub Scout packs who choose to open their program to girls as well as boys.

Our pack and chartering organization have agreed to accept girls into the pack. The dens (dens are grade-specific) are also divided by gender – boys meet in all-boy dens and girls meet in all-girl dens. The monthly pack meeting and pack events are all integrated. The program and requirements are the same for all youth in the program.
